The Sicilian Slice

What We’re Listening To This Week

Steve’s got these on repeat:

I don’t dance – I Hate Myself Because

Ukrainian indie-rock

I Remember – Kaskade, Deadmau5

DEAD MAU FIVE

Tangerine – Tim Atlas

Was bummed I couldn’t catch Tim in Philly a few weeks back, but ANYWAYS…I was introduced via the Hippies who you should ABSOLUTELY listen too right now.

Gianca’s spinning:

These songs embody what it’s like to be on a 5-hour cross-country flight without any entertainment.

Happy and Sad – Kasey Musgraves

Love this track, it really is the song that I felt as I was leaving Philadelphia after thanksgiving. The guitar on this track and Kacey’s vocal range are phenomenal.

I Confess – The English Beat

Upcoming ravioli review for sure…

Something in the way – Nirvana

Why am I sad…

SONG OF THE WEEK

Once – Pearl Jam

One of the first CDs Steve pilfered from his parent’s collection, he recently picked up an LP from Long in the Tooth and it hasn’t left his record player. We love this album (Steve’s opinion is that it’s the best PJ album there is) and it’s such a killer opening track that’s often overshadowed by Even Flow, Black, Jeremy, Alive, etc…
