Erupting onto the scene, like the beginning of Jurassic Park, when they took the fucking blood from the mosquito with a dope needle…
The Sicilian Slice
What We’re Listening To This Week
Steve’s got these on repeat:
I Love My Friends – Foster the People
Sacred Hearts Club is legit banger after banger, easily listen to this album at least once a week. This song is such a jam, always on repeat.
New Skin – Incubus
One off S.C.I.E.N.C.E, this song rips, as does many of the tracks considering the nature of this album. New Skin is a classic, punched in the face type Incubus track with Brandon Boyd delivering on his promise.
Like I Care – Helmet
Like I care…
Frick Park Market – Mac Miller
One of my favorite Mac tracks.
Sunshine Shrine – Tan Universe
Love this track, reminds of a Spoon track, except way better. Side note: Spoon put on one of the lamest live shows I’ve ever seen.
My Mind – Belters Only
Vegas track for a Vegas state of mind
Gianca’s spinning:
Blood and Rockets: Movement I – The Claypool Lennon Delirium
Ive been absolutely obsessed with this song since I saw Les and The Frog Brigade. Such an awesome collaboration between John Lennon’s son Shawn Lennon and Les Claypool. The entire song structure is a magical, trippy and masterful psychedelic rock song. It reminds me of early tame impala with a more roomy gloomy sound. The bass is phenomenal across the entire track and Lennons vocals are hypnotizing.
Songbird – Oasis
I love oasis but this song is just throwing me back to a wonder Colorado trip I had with someone very special 🙂
Inertiatic Esp – The Mars Volta
If I could choose the track that led to this one and this one I would, but my god the Mars Volta has been one of the bands I’ve recently started listening to. I can’t get enough of De Loused in the Comatorium. The sound manipulation, bendy guitars, insane vocals all come together to form a story about a man who is overdosing on a concoction of drugs. Nowwwee IMMMMMMM LOSSSSTTTTTT
Gaucho – Steely Dan
Finally found it, one of the best Steely Dan albums, the collection has been completed..I love this entire album front to back but the title track is groovyyyyy
Easy Rider – Bronson
Mayonaise – The Smashing Pumpkins
30 years of pumpkin smashing
