By the time I get to Phoenix is probably one of the most experimental hip hop albums I’ve ever heard. The production and direction of the sound is truly nothing like I’ve ever heard. My knees hurt when I growwwww
My God – Jethro Tull
When I recommended King Gizzard to my dad he replied that I should give Jethro Tull a listen. And he was spot on about the instrumentation and just insane sounds used. The parallels to KGTLW are there and I love every bit. Aqualung front to back is phenomenal. My God in particular has thick riffs, awesome melodies and the use of a FLUTE. Love it all give it a listen
