The Sicilian Slice

What We’re Listening To This Week

Steve’s got these on repeat:

Whatever You Say – Little Brother

This track slaps harder than many of the others that could be on this list and that’s why I’m rocking it.

Afterparty Lover – Kenya Grace

I am addicted to this track, it’s slays.

Chain Lightnin’ – 38 Special

What a classic track, from a band that rips.

Gianca’s spinning:

Danhausen- Westside Gunn

Conductor, we have a problem….if anything can get me going, it’s some Westside Gunn Adlibs over a conductor best. The best is hard, hypotonic, and makes me wanna fly.

Settling Down – Jerry Cantrell

I never really gave Jerry’s solo work a listen until this week. I always knew he was a great songwriter, but on his solo album, he really can experiment and shine.

Died – Alice in Chains

I can climb until I reach where angels resideeeeeeee. One of the last tracks ever recorded with Layne. It’s hopeless, heartbreaking, and the sound of a man falling into an endless pit of despair. The riffs by Jerry on this track are heavy, and the vocal harmonies are chilling.
