About Us

SteveC

The shorter of the two 7ft Sicilians, Steve erupted onto the scene, like the beginning of Jurassic Park, when they took the blood from the mosquito with a dope needle… but honestly, it was a pretty casual event somewhere deep in New England.

Raised in a musically inclined family, he was exposed to an immense range of musical genres ranging from classic rock from his father, which cemented his love for all things Black Sabbath, to disco of which he was exposed to in almost every car ride to school with his mother, a classical flutist herself.

His love of music only expanded as he reached his teens and explored more 90’s alternative rock than he cares to admit. In high school, he picked up the guitar and joined a band that prided itself on its shabby cover of Killing in the name of and played approximately zero shows. He put down the guitar in college and picked up a set of decks, where you could find him dropping beats in the basements across Back Bay Boston.

You would never know from his EDM exploits that the first concert he ever attended was a Hewie Lewis and the News concert at the Cape Cod Melody Tent. Fast forwarding to the present day, Steve has a full-blown addiction to all things guitars, effect pedals, and Vinyl records. His office appears to be some workshop/beat lab/recording studio, and on most days, you can find him riffing away on some classic track from his growing discography.

In the rare moments, he escapes his lab, you can find him riding fixed through the streets of Philly on the search for a new dive bar and chasing that high the first time he consumed a city-wide at Bob and Barbara’s.

Favorite Artists: Soundgarden, Black Sabbath, Bob Seger, Chic, Steely Dan, and the Magic City Hippies.

Gianca

One of the two 7ft Sicilians. Born and raised like a garlic knot from the Boogie Down Bronx, in the heart of New York City. Growing up around a musical family, a man who shares half his name and only wears jorts and tons of records; it was the ideal breeding ground for a child who lives and breathes music.

In the first grade, while most kids were playing with action figures, Giancarlo had a 20-dollar MP3 Player with 50 songs that his dad gave to him to listen to weekly. Living inside those headphones was an assortment of classic rock, jazz, and an occasional bit of metal. Some of his favorite moments growing up were the car ride to school listening to Pink Floyd, David Bowie, and Led Zeppelin. By the time he reached high school,

Giancarlo played in a jazz band and became a musical explorer. Constantly pushing the boundaries of music he knew, he extensively searched for new artists from different genres and various languages. He branched out into hip hop and different types of punk, grunge, and metal music as he got older, searching for new artists to dive deep into. Eventually, most people Giancarlo knew would ask him for new music because he was “that guy.” Constantly on the prowl for new music and exciting live concerts, he was always on the move.

He currently resides in Philadelphia and makes playlists for people in exchange for beers and citywides. Find him ripping across the city like a bat outta hell on his fixed gear bike towards the nearest record shop and climbs rocks while blasting Hangar 18 in a city near you.
